Our Story
Cappuvini® was founded in 2022 by a team of makeup lovers who were frustrated with the lack of diversity and representation in the beauty industry. We set out to create an inclusive brand that celebrates self-expression and empowers our community to embrace their authentic selves.
Our journey began with a simple idea: lip gloss should be for everyone. We developed formulas in a huge range of colors and finishes to suit all skin tones and styles. The positivity and creativity of the Cappuvini® community inspired us to expand into other categories like lip glaze, lip oil, and mascara.
At the heart of our brand is a belief in the transformative power of makeup. We want to help you boost your self-confidence and enhance your natural beauty, whether you’re getting glam for a night out or just trying to add a little color to your day. Our products are designed to make you feel vibrant, playful, and free to be you.
Our Formulas
All Cappuvini® products are proudly vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA. We use high-quality ingredients and conduct rigorous testing to ensure our formulas are non-toxic, long-lasting, and a pleasure to wear.
Our lip glosses come in a huge selection of creamy, glittery, and holographic finishes. We use nourishing oils and butters to condition lips and provide comfortable, non-sticky wear. Fan-favorites include our Plush Lip Glaze for intense color payoff and high shine, and our Crystal Lip Topper for a sparking pop of shimmer.
Our lip glazes give you gorgeous color with a smooth, lacquer-like finish. The lightweight, emollient formula hugs lips comfortably thanks to ingredients like vitamin E, jojoba oil, and shea butter. For vivid matte pigment, check out our Velvet Lip Glaze.
Lip oils are all about hydration and sheer color. Ours are infused with moisturizing oils like apricot, rosehip, and marula to leave lips soft and supple. Choose a juicy tint like Cherry Bomb or keep it simple with our Clear Lip Oil.
For fluttery, feathered lashes, our mascaras deliver buildable volume and length. Our volumizing and lengthening formulas contain lash-conditioning panthenol and are clump-free, smudge-proof, and easy to remove. Our Bold Volume Mascara gives dramatic intensity, while our Limitless Length Mascara stretches lashes for miles.

Philanthropy is extremely important to us. We donate a portion of proceeds to organizations that align with our values and support women, LGBTQ+ communities, and diversity advocacy:
- Girls Inc. – Empowers girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life-changing programs and advocacy.
- The Trevor Project – Provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth.
- Women’s Foundation of Colorado – Works to achieve economic self-sufficiency for women and girls in Colorado.
We also partner with charities to create limited-edition collections where 100% of proceeds go to the cause. Past partners include BARCC, RAINN, and the USO.
Giving back is our way of spreading more beauty in the world. We aim to uplift and empower our community, within and beyond.
Meet Our Team
Cappuvini® was founded by a group of passionate makeup aficionados. Though our team has grown over the years, we’re still a collaborative, creative bunch who geek out over all things beauty!
Nina and Jo had the original idea for Cappuvini® while chatting over drinks one night. They were tired of the elitism and lack of diversity in beauty and wanted to create something for self-expression, not self-criticism. Nina handles branding and marketing strategy, while Jo oversees product development and operations.
Our product development team creates our unique, cruelty-free formulas using their extensive chemistry backgrounds. They put each product through rigorous testing to ensure quality and safety. The team is led by Dr. Rashel, who has a PhD in Cosmetic Science.
On the marketing side, Judy heads up digital content and customer engagement. She works closely with our community to create buzzworthy campaigns and share makeup tips, tutorials, and more. Judy has an MBA in Marketing and a popular beauty blog.
Sadoer manages our retail partnerships and sales strategy. He leverages data and research to determine optimal distribution for our products. Sadoer has 10+ years in the CPG industry.
At our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Olivia oversees production with an emphasis on sustainability. She implemented eco-friendly practices to reduce waste and energy consumption. Olivia has a degree in Industrial Engineering.
The Cappuvini® family also includes our talented team of makeup artists, graphic designers, photographers, customer service reps, and more. We’re a passionate, diverse group united by our brand’s vision and values.
